You connect to the Internet in the same way as you do currently by analogue or ISDN dial up connection and then log on to your broadband by satellite provider (most providers give you software to do the dial up for you). When you request a page it sends the request by phone to the satellite server. The server up-links it to the satellite, the web pages are then transmitted to your PC. This is a one way system or down stream system which means your upload speed will not change.
